The Continent of Zimroel
Zimroel is Majipoor's secondary and westernmost continent. It is home to vast jungles, rivers, and settlements of many species of Majipoor, both native and alien. The climate is excellent for growing crops, and Zimroel provides much of the food to support Majipoor's billions of citizens. At the center of the continent, ringed by a vast mountain range is Velathys, the Piurivar reservation where Majipoor's native inhabitants were relegated by Lord Stiamot at the end of the Unification War. Like spokes around the hub of a wheel, major cities can be found to the north, west, and south of Velathys, including Ni-moya, Pidruid, Til-omon and Narajal, respectively, to name a few. From the western coastal city Piliplok, sea-dragon fishing vessels follow their quarry in their annual migrations across the seas of Majipoor.
